Sigwa, Rage ... of Perils & Hopes, will now be showing here in Cebu! This coming September 11, 2010 at SM City Cebu, another film will be showcase from a top-multi-awarded director Joel Lamangan.
The title of the film Sigwa, meaning "storm", for 40 years it spans to our social unrest. A junior correspondent of a US magazine, Fil-Am Dolly initially told this story. She was brought to the Philippines in 1970 to do a story on student activism in Manila. Now, she has returned to the Philippines again after being arrested and deported in 1975, during martial law times. But her goal this time is to look for her daughter, whom she believed to have died, but was told that is alive.
